Clandestina

Clandestina (“Clandestine”) began as a stage lab with women in Medellín between September and October 2023. We worked with movement and writing to approach, through the performing arts, the experiences of women in prostitution. We explored the stigma, indifference and lack of understanding that can feed rejection, mistreatment and abuse. The project does not seek to speak for them or to reduce their lives to a single story. It seeks to raise questions, acknowledge social responsibility and create a stage where we can look directly at what we would rather ignore. We presented the result on 1 December 2023 in Rionegro.
